Best Brothers duo in cricket

Being a game played by 11 players as a team, a good teamwork is considered as great asset for any cricket playing nation. Many cricketer work hard either on their own or as a partnership  to show their best performance in the game. At times we have seen some bonafide players serving for their country via the cricketing game. And what is most exciting is, we have seen brothers playing cricket for the nation. Two or more brothers playing cricket from a given team is always a matter of great interest for the spectators to watch. And for the brothers duo, it seems as a  matter of great pride and enthusiasm. Today I have tried to present some of the best brothers in cricketing history. Some of them belong same verse of game (either bowling, batting, or both) but some belong to different verse. These are famous because the duo has served well for their country. Lets check out!

Steve Waugh, Mark Waugh (Australia)
These two twin brothers are one of the best brothers duo in cricket. Steve was one of the prominent batsman of his time and is best remembered for winning the World Cup of 1999 under his captaincy. Besides Australia has won the record of 15 out of 16 consecutive tests led by him.
On the other hand his brother Mark is remembered for his stroke playing ability. Though he was kind of overshadowed by his own brother Steve for some time, but he slowly showed his cricketing talents over time and proved himself as competent as his brother.

Andy Flower, Grant Flower (Zimbabwe)
Andy and Grant were the true and devoted cricketers Zimbabwe has ever got. Both these talented batsman brother have shown their talents in cricket. Andy was basically a wicket-keeper batsman while younger Brother Grant was fierce opener for Zimbabwe. Later on arrival of new keeper Taibu, Andy ocasionally bowled as well. And the both the brothers enjoy part time bowling and were seen focused on the fielding as well.

Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan (India)
How can one skip mentioning the name of Pathan btothers when it comes to best brothers duo in cricket. Although related as half brothers (common father but different mother) they have always been close whether it is in field  or else. Irfan is considered as one of the fine seam bowler of India. He is also compared as a perfect successor to Kapil Dev. 
On the other hand big brother Yusuf is best rekoned for his hard hitting ability and off spinning bowling. There is an interesting story that Yusuf has broken the glass window pane of almost every house in Baroda where he used to play cricket during his youth days. Yusuf was auctioned at a high price deal by Kolkata Knight Riders for the fifth version of IPL. Both these brothers has been in the winning squad of 2011 world cup.

Brendon McCullum, Nathan McCullum (New Zealand)
The McCullum brothers are different by their playing role. Brendon is a wicketkeeper batsman while Nathan is an off-break bowler. The younger one Brendon is great to watch as he bats. He bats fiercely at times and is awesome behind the stumps. Brendon is a great opener to the New Zealand batting lineup. Meanwhile the older buddy is Nathan is off break bowler and an allrounder who joined his brother from the T20 world cup at South Africa. Though he seemed late to join cricket but he has shown maintained his fame equivalency to his brother.

Kamran, Umar, Adnan Akmal (Pakistan)
Eldest of all, Kamran is the prominent batsman for the Pakistan team. He is one of the fine wicket keeping batsman along with Adam Gilchirist and Kumar Sangakkara of modern days. His batting ability is seen extremely terrific and he can change look of game with his great batting ability. Pakistan has witnessed many winning moments under his sole performance.
Youngest of all, Umar is middle order batsman. His variation of stroke playing is often considered of superlative degree. Umar has rised as one of the talented middle order batsman Pakistan were always looking for.
The middle siblings of Akmal bros, Adnan is successor of his elder brother Kamran. He has yet to show his real talent like his brothers.
The interesting part of Akmal bros is that they all can perform wicket keeping though Umar is a part time wicket-keeper batsman.

Albie Morkel, Morne Morkel (South Africa)
The Morkel Brothers are indeed a best brothers duo South African Cricket has ever witnessed. Both the brothers are talented fast bowlers and can make batsman feel uncomfortable at times. Though both brother bowl amazingly,elder  brother Albie is also a great hitter of ball. Albie is also noticed for his great and long sixes hitting ability. Both brothers has been seen performing so well for South Africa and in various seasons of Indian Premier League (IPL). Both are in playing 11 of South Africa for many occasions.

Kevin O'Brien, Niall O'Brien (Ireland)
Ireland cricket has been marching forward steadily in contrast to its neighbor England. And O'Brien brothers will be always remembered as a best brother duo who are trying to make the most out of them in order to uplift the Ireland cricket.
Younger of Niall, Kevin plays as wicket keeper batsman for team. He is best remembered for   his outstanding innings in the world cup against England (2011) when Ireland successfully chased a mighty score of 327 where Kevin smashed a 50 ball century which is fastest in World Cup history.
A wicket keeper batsman by playing role, Niall is another prolific cricketer for Ireland. His calm and steady batting has made Ireland team strong over times. 
Both brothers have played World Cup together in 2007 and 2011 respectively.

David Hussey, Mike Hussey (Australia)
It will be a terrible mistake to forget the Hussey brothers if one is talking about best brothers in cricket. Though both brothers rose late in cricket compared to other Aussie counterparts, they have been seen consistent in their performance in Australian cricket. Being a batsman Mike has scored well at many occasions. While the younger one is an all rounder by playing role. Both brothers have been seen playing so well for Australia and are seen best in famous cricketing league, IPL.Hussey brothers are best siblings Australia has ever got after Steve and Mark Waugh.

Darren Bravo, Dwayne Bravo (West Indies)
Dwayne Bravo is one of the prolific all rounder West Indies has long opted for. This 28 year lad is extremely handy with bat as well as bowl. He has scored plenty of runs ans claimed a bunchful wickets at many occasions for West Indies. He has contributed many times in the winnig moments for the Caribbean team. 
On the other hand, half brother Darren is a left hand batsman. Though being nearly six years younger to Dwayne, there is lot more to see from this talented young lad. He also enjoys occasional wicket keeping.
Both the brothers have been seen playing well for the home team and for the IPL teams for various seasons. They are also one of the best cricket playing duo modern cricket has witnessed.
