Top 5 best all rounders In cricket.

Cricket is a game that seems more connected to batting and bowling only. There are other aspects of the game as well but what spectators notice are bowling and batting. Most commonly cricket game is confined to batting and bowling. Those players that can perfom well with their bat are batsman while those who can perform well with ball are bowlers. Apart from these two distinct categories of players the third of the kind is the all-rounders. They are those who can show the miracle with both their batting as well as bowling ability. But however wicket keepers (viz Gilly, Sangakkara,etc) can also bat quite well but they are not considered as all-rounders rather they are known as wicket keeper batsman. One of the essential quality that one player must possess to be famed as an all-rounder is he must be able to bat as well as bowl.

Cricket has seen many great all rounders over time. It is a matter of great difficulty to precisely circle out the best all-rounder. Imran Khan (great with bat and bowl), Sir Garfileld Sobers (excellent batsman with great bowling ability), Ian Botham (right hand batsman, right hand medium fast bowling), Kapil Dev (a fast bowling all rounder), Richard Hadlee (right arm fast bowling, left hand batting), etc are my personal favourite. Coming to modern days, following are the list of top five all rounders.

1) JACQUES KALLIS (South Africa)

South Africa has contributed majority of all rounders to cricket and Kallis is one of the fine all rounder of South African team as well as of modern cricket. SA has witnessed many winning moments with the top notch performance with his excellent batting and bowling. He has a batting average of 56.78 and 45.26 in test and ODI format respectively. And he has a bowling average of 32.45 with an impressive economy of 32.45 and is tough against the opponents at the field as well.

2) SHAKIB AL HASAN (Bangladesh)

Shakib Al Hasan is the top all rounder Bangladesh has got. He has produced many charming results for many of the Bangladesh's winning moments. During a match against the Kiwis in 2008, Shakib took the best bowling figure by a bangladeshi player grabbing 7 wickets for 37 runs. From this game onwards he has bee showing his all round performance more vibrantly.

3) SHANE WATSON (Australia)

He is a great Aussie player who player so well with the bat and ball. He has always been a great play maker in Aussie squad. He has an imperssive bowling followed by cool batting. Apart from contributing from the national team he has shown his talent from the IPL team Rajasthan Royals. His all round performance led Rajasthan Royals the winner of first version of the IPL.

4) ANDREW FLINTOFF (England)

"Freddie" as he was called by his fellow cricketers, was one the England's greatest all rounder following the footsteps of Sir Ian Botham. And personally it was best to see him perform so well during the 2005 Ashes tests at Lords. As Botham was the central figure in the 1981 England's Ashes win, Flintoff was the central figure in the 2005 England's  Ashes win. Fighting with knee injury he was not able to show his performance well. So he quit playing all versions of cricket on September 2010. But Freddie's incredible game will always be remembered especially the 2005's Ashes win.

5) DWAYNE BRAVO (West Indies)

The 28 year all rounder is what West Indies needed to make them remind of Sir Garfield Sobers. Bravo's all round performance has delighted West Indian fans over time. He plays equally well in tests, one day, T20 formats of the game. His recent perfomance ih the fifth version of IPL was rewarding one.
