The story!
Celebration of a century is matter of great excitement for the batsman. West Indian cricketer also celebrated it like the others do, but what makes the difference is he celebrated it in own creating an puzzled filled scene for the fellow cricketers and to the spectators. He was seen celebrating it quite unusual manner.
As soon as he scored a century, he dropped his bat on the ground and took out a piece of paper from his pocket and displayed the content to the spectators which read "YEA VIV TALK NAH". The message from Ramdin came as a reaction to Sir Richards criticism about him just before the start of match regarding his current deteriorating performances. "He has deteriorated in such a big way", Richard was found commenting about him before the match. However Sir Richards gave an underwhelming response to Ramdin's message. In an interview to BBC Richard has said that he has taken a long time to make a ton and he was playing in a non-pressure conditions. He further added that he has always expected a bigger outcomes from the players.
Ramdin's Apology
Ramdin accepted his guilt after ICC found him breaching the code of conducts. Ramdin was charged with level 1 offence, contrary to clause 2.1.8(a) which is associated with "conduct contrary to the spirit of game". Ramdin pleaded guilty to the offence and accepted the proposed sanction. Thus there was not a formal hearing. He is fined 20 percent of his match fee by ICC.
