Dismissals in cricket carries the two emotions at the same time. Dismissal may be painful for the batting team while it holds the bursts of happiness for the bowling team. Today I am presenting some of the dismissals that seem very funny from the viewpoint of spectators. Lets get started fellas.
1) Inzamam-ul-Haq dismissal
In this test match between Pakistan and England, Inzamam attempts a sweep shot but he loses his balance and stumbles upon the wicket. He tries his best to avoid touching the stumps but he could not succeed and eventually the bails drop.
2) Kevin Pietersen dismissal
Pietersen was dismissed in this weird momentum, but his dismissal was kind of funny to watch as a spectator. He misses hitting the bouncer of Dwayne Bravo and the ball hits his helmet. Whether to say it was the power of the ball or the loose knot of helmet strap, the helmet gets pulled of his head and directly hits the stumps. One of the weirdest and funniest dismissal one can ever encounter in cricket.
3) Shahid Afridi dismissal
In this match between Bangladesh and Pakistan, Shahid Afridi gets dismissed in funny manner. Afridi drives the ball straight, the ball still being in the air seemed to be carried to bowler Shakib-ul-Hasan. Hasan attempts the low catch but could not get hold of the ball and the ball escapes into the air, AGAIN attempts getting the ball but still could not make it, and the ball again escapes into the air but far this time towards Misbah-ul-Haq. The ball gets deflected from Misbah's body and now Hasan grips the ball comfortably leaving one of the funny dismissal in cricketing history.
4) Kumar Sangakkara's dismissal
This is another piece of fun that came in Compaq Cup between India and Sri Lanka. One of the funniest hit wicket till date I think. It was RP Singh who was bowling a full toss, Sangakkara stroked it casually but in the meanwhile the bat slipped of his hand and landed over the stumps. If you look at the gesture of Sangakkara, he seemed completely amused. Meanwhile, RP Singh tried to stop the ball and dived into the field. He was still unaware that Sangakkara was out and all his fellow teammates pounded over him. Check the video to find out more.
5) Peter Kirsten's dismissal
This dismissal has the weird factor dominant in contrast to the funny factor. In this ODI between India and South Africa, it was Proteas batting and the bowler was Kapil Dev. While Kapil was about to bowl, he noticed that Peter Kirsten was leaving the crease before he bowled. So, Kapil took a cunning trick, he stopped bowling and directly hit the stumps with ball in his hand. Kirsten was unaware of Kapil's trick and seemed frustrating. Find more in the video.
6) Mohinder Amarnath dismissal
This dismissal happened long ago in a match between India and the Aussies. It was GRJ Matthews bowling and Amarnath was on the crease. Amarnath attempted a normal shot but the ball slipped towards the wicket and was about to hit the stumps. Amarnath deliberately deflected the ball away from hitting the wicket. He was given out for "handling the ball". The most funny part is Amarnath himself laughed for his deeds after he was given out.

8) Grant Lambert dismissal
It was funniest and most dumbest dismissal that counts. It was the match between the New South Wales and South Australia in the Ford Rangers Cup. Sahun Tait was the bowler and Lambert was on strike. After Tait bowled, Lambert made a comfortable room to play the shot but he did not bothered playing the shot and was bowled at the end. Even Tait enjoyed the this show.
